Winter Classic 2016 was a charity event for Doctors Without Borders hosted by Shalthis. The event featured some of the top North American and European teams competing in games played with the ice hockey mutator, Snow Day.

Overview

Format

• Six invited teams
• All matches are best-of-three
• A team is eliminated once they lose two matches
• Initial match is picked by the organizers
• Winning team chooses the next two teams to play based on this criteria:
  • No team can play twice in a row
  • One of the chosen teams must be from the teams with the fewest games played.
• Last team remaining is declared the winner
