Overview

The Throwdown Rocket League Challenge Season 2 is the second season of Throwdown's professional Oceanic Rocket League league. In addition, in a partnership with Psyonix the league will also directly feed the top Oceanic teams into the RLCS Season 3 World Championship.

  • Open to all players
  • Double Elimination Bracket
  • Top 8 teams qualify for League Play

League Play

  • 4 weeks of play
  • Single Round Robin
  • Every match is a Best-of-five
  • Top 4 teams qualify for the Championship

Championship

  • Double Elimination Bracket
  • Winners Final, Losers Final and Grand Final are Best-of-seven
    • The team that advances from the Winners Final has one game advantage in the Grand Finals
  • Every other match is Best-of-five
  • Top 2 teams qualify for the RLCS Season 3 World Championship
